I'm curious as I am an Army Combat Veteran with a PTSD dog. Sadly my dog is becoming more of a "family" dog because I have been forced to leave my dog at home. After a year of looking for work, as a Disabled Vet with a PTSD Service Dog causing unnecessary red flags to the ignorant, I took a job beneath my skill set. The job was in a CBD production facility and working with hazardous chemicals and wearing a respirator wasn't an environment I would expose my dog to. After 8 months they realized I was being underutilized and promoted me to Safety Manager of the facility. Now I have an office, and am by myself a lot. Needless to say, the need for my service animal is increased when I have too much time to reflect and being in charge of safety puts me in military mode. I'd very much like to see this regulation changed to clarify the use of service animals. PTSD dogs are the real deal, and not just for Veterans because PTSD doesn't discriminate.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04124937500497988942noreply@blogger.com
